Long time Forum member and serious Collector, offering up some very nice pieces for your consideration. I've sold around ten guitars to other members here (as well as given three away at ElectraFests!) and have a honest and thorough reputation. I own many guitars that are beat up or have been modified, but these seven guitars here are very original and most are in exceptional shape, dare I say Collector Grade. Nice additions to any collection, at just about anyone's pricing point. I can provide more pictures and info to interested parties. All video clips are me playing the actual guitars listed. For the sake of brevity, the descriptions tend to highlight any flaws. I will update this thread when items are sold.

X145vs Phoenix S/N 4030406, March 1984, both Electra and Westone on the Headstock. No chips around the edges, zero paint missing anywhere, two tiny dings under the control plate on the back can just be seen in rear photo, minor swirling on both front and back, all metal parts look store fresh, no stories, just an excellent example. Guitar is lively and loud acoustically, nicely put together, a solid 9.0 $265 with case.

X145vs is SOLD

X150 Laminated Active Phoenix, May 1981 build, Phoenix truss rod cover, strap buttons don't match, phase and coil cut switches have been replaced, brass top loader bridge discolored, some major scratching on front upon inspection, probably could be buffed out. Rarity of this model outweigh the finish issues in my book, hard to find laminated body with the original active circuit intact. 7-8 condition $450 with a case.

2248 Ivory Telecaster (Rock n Soul) S/N 0049, 1972 first year of production, very early, 100% original, nice collector piece. Some minor chips and honest wear, original ashtray and leaf truss rod cover, nice 42 year old survivor. You owe it to yourself to play one of these Gibby scale telecasters. 8+ Condition $425 with a excellent tweed case.

2248 is SOLD

X960 Ultima S/N 001152, January 1980, first month of production, 100% original except for white switch top (should be black, easily found), scratches on Aluminum rear covers, minor scuffs on back, output jack a little touchy. All electronics and MPC slots work as they should, overall just a stunning example, one of the nicest Ultima's you'll come across. Brass absolutely gleams. One of the only MPC's with MMK's, a single coil switch and less confusing three way selector. Complete with the original and very desirable Black molded Electra case (roughly $100 on its own) 9+ condition $575.

X960 is SOLD

X120 Leslie West MPC, circa 1979, possibly Electra's rarest design. One changed tuner, one tiny chip near bottom strap button, it will need some fret leveling and truss rod adjustment afterwards. The finish on this one is exceptional, one of the nicest I've seen. All Mahogany body and neck, 100% original and working MPC electronics, just a great piece. 9.0 condition $675 will find a case.

X810 MPC Semi Hollow Body, circa 1977, tree of life, nicely appointed with tortoise shell binding throughout. Has some chipping at MPC hatch, moderate play wear, finish worn on back of neck, and neck binding has shrunk. Top of the Line model that doesn't come up too often, this one plays great and displays very respectably. 7.5 Condition $775 with original Canadian case.

X810 Semi MPC is SOLD

X420 Custom Pro, September 1983 build, 100% original, no stories. Some swirls on front, minor wear on back one tiny ding on top of the neck at sixth fret. Rare MMK61 pickups, their take on the PAF. Very nice example, 8.9 condition $850 with a case.

X420 is SOLD

I am not desperate to sell, and these prices are less than what they have sold for on eBay in the past, but make an offer if you see something you like. I am willing to work with buyer as far as payments, maybe you've got a tax refund coming? I will pack well for shipping, or if you live close enough you can pick them up in person. Buyer to pay actual shipping, no markups here. Feel free to PM me with any questions or pictures of specific areas.

As far as trades, my short wish list is:

2259 Double Solid SG, condition not important, prefer earlier build
X420vs Custom Pro vintage sunburst with push/pulls, no neck or heal issues
X110 Rock Strad, lightweight, no mods preferred

Thanks for looking, Mike.

Seller has impeccable credentials, and the guitars are some of the best examples of their types.

Wow - some of those are really in amazing condition - including that first sunburst one (WOW). You definitely have some good ones here.

I hate to see you sell such nice pieces. Definitely recommended - prices are really reasonable too. I've bought stuff from him recently and am very pleased. Right now I am out of space and my wife caught me looking at these and reminded me how displeased she'd be if I got any more without selling some. I'm really gonna miss her. :D

No, seriously, all joking aside - I don't dare right now. She is right. I just had PC problems and just bought an I7 desktop. I still don't have it totally finished (a build) but I am typing on it right now. I am bummed and think I'll probably have to nuke everything and reload from scratch to get it to be stable. I also am PAYING on taxes this year rather than getting a refund. I'd have to trade but don't have anything on your list. I also am probably too late! Sounds like most of them might be sold!

Thanks for the kind words guys, I appreciate the 'Endorsements' also. I'd rather sell them to enthusiasts here at a discount than deal with eBay. I think the prices are pretty reasonable, if you don't though, make me an offer. As of this minute, all of them are available. If anyone buys two, I'll throw in the white Electra Strat! It is after all the sale of the Century. Cheers, Mike.

P.S. none of the MPC prices include any modules.

I hope that your sale goes well Mike -

If I were in the market I would not hesitate to buy any one of these from you in a heartbeat.

Things are heating up guys, three guitars are spoken for now. What's left are both Phoenix's (curious) the Leslie West, and the well appointed X810. Ask any questions, Mike.

Bump

Four guitars still available:

X145vs Phoenix, super clean

X150 Active Laminated Phoenix, rare model, thought there would be more interest in this one

X120 Leslie West MPC, will keep this one if no one bites soon!

X810 Semi-Hollow MPC, some wear, one of their premier offerings

PM and make an offer, willing to work with Forum Members as far as pricing.

Looking for:

2259 SG
X420vs SemiHollow with push/pulls

Have the next week off, so I can ship these in a timely fashion if there is any interest..? Not sure if everyone is just tapped out, or if these models aren't in demand currently. I'd rather sell here at a discount than deal with eBay.

Price Drop:

X145vs Stunning Piece, time capsule, would be willing to go as low as $240 plus actual shipping.

X150 Active Phoenix Rare untampered example, I know guys that have waited years for one of these to pop up, myself included! $420 plus actual shipping.

X810 Semi-Hollow MPC, upscale model with all the bells, has been played but that's because it sounds and feels great. $710 with a power overdrive module, $760 with both Phase and POD plus actual shipping.

Having the X120 Leslie West frets leveled currently, may relist when done, it really is a fantastic example.

Ask any questions, thanks for looking, Mike.

Tapped out would be the correct answer here. Would love to have any part of your collection but Just cant swing it now.
