Hey Guys, I'm Joe. Brand spanking new to the forum. I am selling off all but one of my guitars. Wife keeps getting sicker and bills got to get paid. I have an Electra Invicta X260 I would like to sell. I usually sell things on ebay but This seems ot be a pretty special guitar and I thought it would be nice to find her a good home. I realize I am new here but I do have an excellent history as a seller on ebay. My user name up there is joed5177. I'll be putting some other guitars and an amp up on ebay. I think you can find me by my ebay user name. If you want you can just "ask seller a question" on one of the guitars I am putting up there and mention the Electra and I'll respond. The hope is that you will know I am the same seller on ebay as here and at least have some reassurance I am not some ripoff artist.

Anyway about the guitar. I don't know that much about them. Many many years ago I bought a working man(I think) and somehow lost the guitar, I always remembered the guitar fondly and when I saw this one on ebay i grabbed it. She really is nice. Judging from what little I learned I think it was built in '80 in the 8th month. She has a couple of small dings Three are noticeable and can be seen in the Hi rez pic's I am going to attempt to link to. The worst is on the edge just below the volume and tone knobs, another on the upper edge of the guitar and a third on the headstock all are visible in the photos. The frets, well it looks like the guy keep it in a case or something. I can't detect any fret wear. It's possible I suppose that they were leveled and polished but I don't see any evidence of such work. No buzzes anywhere on the fretboard She plays like a dream. I suspect the bridge pickup has been replaced but I am not sure. It doesn't look like the neck pickup or any of the few pics I have seen. Overall even with the dings I would rate it an 8.5 or so for an almost 34 year old guitar. I think it's worth around 400.00 for that I will ship it in the Continental US for that price. I am open to offers and if you have any questions feel fee to send them my way.

$400.00 Shipped or best offer.

Hey Shack, Thanks, yeah she is real pretty. I tried to get good shots of the few dings she has. I think they could be repaired. They don't jump out or anything but if you look for them they're there. Let me know what you want a picture of and I'll try and take it for you. For some reason the link I posted takes you to the "middle" of the set. There should be a total of 24 pics at the link. This new link should take you to the begining og the set.

I also have another guitar for sale on ebay. It's probably not of any interest to anyone here but I'm including the info so that people here can a least get a little history on me as a seller. Just search for Yamaha lord player. joed5177 is the seller, that's me. you can look at my feedback and see I'm a straight up guy

Prreciateit as we say here in Alabama, Mortarman. I figured I'd give it the weekend and then stick it up on Ebay. Doesn't seem to be much interest in it judging from the views.

May just need some time as weather etc has been bad most places. Give it time. If you ever get over towards the Tifton Ga neighborhood feel free to stop in and try out some Electras.

I just didn't notice I didn't have them up there. I'm in the IT field and we call it an ID ten t error. We spell it like this IDIOT. It was brought to my attention about 20 times LOL I think I have it fixed now. I but a link in the Answers and Questions on the Ebay listing.

Anyway here is the link to the photos of the LP500 and the electra. You can right click on any of the images and chose the size you want to view, all the way up to where you can count dust specs.

Nice guitar. I didn't see a price anywhere. Listing rules requires a price (It is writtien to be "clear on the price"). If I missed it I am sorry. Thanks. If someone does not like the price they'll make you a lower offer.

Good luck with your sale! Again, very nice looking guitar.

Thanks a lot Thorny. I wasn't very clear was I. I didn't really know what a fair price was and just kind of guessed at the 400.00 But anyway I updated the Original post saying $400.00 Shipped or best offer. Will that work?

That is perfect - thanks! Rules in this section are fairly new. If something is FS, it needs a price. You will get more responses also if you list a price.

Thanks.
