I'm keeping my eye on that pick guard. Thanks for the link to the other auction. I plan on going back to the pawn shop on Saturday. We'll see what happens....

I went back to the pawn shop to make an offer, but they weren't interested in coming down any lower than $300. They claimed that they would break even at that price which I find hard to believe. On the plus side, it did look to be in better condition than I remember, but of course, still needed a new pick guard and screws. I also got a look at the case and it looks to be original.

I have a hard time believing that they'll be able to sell it at their price, so I left my phone number and offer just in case they want to let it go for a reasonable price.
