Hello all. I just picked up an SLM 60th Anniversary x145 but the pickguard is broken. I don't need pickups or electronics, just pickguard. Im pretty sure any of the 3 single coil pickup guards will work. If you have one let me know. If it has to be with the electronics I may consider it still. Thanks so much, Anthony.

Sorry that I don't have a pick guard for your x145, but I am collecting info about the anniversary models. I would like to know the color of your guitar and any serial numbers on the headstock and anniversary plate. Any stories about how and where you purchased it would be nice too. Thanks!

Hi there. No problem as far as the pick guard. As far as the guitar it is indeed a 60th SLM. Its been played quite a bit but still in pretty nice shape. I purchased it from a fellow collector who has over 140 Japan Invasion guitars from the 1970s and 1980s. I know he had it for a while but not sure of the history before him. I will ask when I talk to him. As far as numbers, it has the typical brass plate with the model number and its number 314. No other numbers on the plate etc. I haven't taken it apart yet as I just got it but if I find anything else Ill let you know. Thanks!

Ooops, forgot that. Its the blue flake color. Beautiful color. Im actually going through the guitar now. It is a mess. The holes where the strings go into are full of corrosion. Ive never seen anything like it on a guitar and Ive owned and worked on hundreds. Its almost like when a battery corrodes, that chalky stuff except it super hard. Anyway, I hope this helps. I am also in the process of buying a duble humbucker 60th Electra as well. I will give you the specs when I get it. Anthony
