Thanks for working on this Mick. It will be just what I need for my Futura restoration if it can be verified. I picked up 2 new push pull pots for the tone pots to restore the feature to the Futura (some previous owner replaced the tone pots.)

I have both, Mick. They only have push/pulls on the tone controls. The neck tone pot is coil tap, and the bridge is phase reverse. My X165 still has the bird stickers on the tone pots that read coil tap and phase reverse. I'm almost afraid to play the thing between that and the fading Rene Lopez sticker on the back. ;-) It's an very clean '83. Perhaps the later ones, if yours is such, have a different layout. Mine are brass and chrome hardware, not black.

yeah, I was just working off this description on the models page:

X165 Electra Phoenix (H-H)
Wednesday, January 23, 2008, 11:25 AM - Models
Bolt neck double cutaway with maple body, maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, black hardware, graphite nut and tekglide (vintage style) bridge, two humbuckers with four knobs (V-V-T-T) with pull-switches for coil tap and phase reverse.

I will correct my drawing. a pic of yours would be great, or do you already have a diagram?

Mine are all marked 223k (.022uf).

I'll post an update to your update tomorrow, Mick. Sorry, I just couldn't get to it today...

Sorry this looks so chaotic. I don't have your skill at assembling these. That being said, this is straight out of my X165, which looks exactly like my X155. Dead stock. Let me know if i got something wrong and I'll check it again.

BTW, I posted some pix of my Maple Pro the other day. You might want to use them for your ID page.
