Post subject: Electra MPC pickups.

I recently bought a x330 that has what looks like a replacement pickup in the bridge area, not the typical two tone magnaflux pickups you normally see. On further investigation I noticed that all of the wire in the guitar, including that of both pickups is the same color gray and it doesnt appear that the solder joints have been touched. Is it possible that the bridge pickup is from the early 80's because it looks like other Westone amd Electra pickups i have seen on non-MPC modles. The pickup is black and has adjustable pole pieces that use an Allen wrench. Thanks, Doug S.

It should look like the ones in the model index. If you need one Electra should have new ones out soon. Check the New Electra Guitar Co forum in the board index, under new magnaflux pick up.
