Thanks...just wondering what the guitar should cost. Looking to buy one off the local Craigs List. He is asking $275 and I just was wondering if it was fair. I asked if it was a neck through or bolt on and have gotten no reply as of yet.

I think any really nice Japanese LP copy (set neck or bolt neck) should be worth that if it is that condition and has a hardshell case like that. It looks original and complete. But you can always show up with cash and offer a little bit less if they are local and they probably will take it. Looks like a nice guitar. If it is set neck, it is even a better deal. You can check it out very well and work out the details when you try it out (and adjust your offer if needed) - the good thing about craigslist.

I guess it depends how bad you want it also. Another guitar board I am on says no more than $200.
