Hey Men,

I won this auction for the good of us all... http://www.ebay.com/itm/Large-Lot-Of-Electra-Westone-Dealer-Price-List-Product-Sheets-Posters-And-Info-/131505190225?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2047675.l2557&nma=true&si=tN0lNw0Ut%252B3Ly5d5TVw9NrU8P1M%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc

I don't know for sure, but I *think* there may be material in here that we don't yet have on site. Am I correct or not?

Anyhow, I bought this to make it available to us, to preserve for posterity's sake. So please someone who knows better than I do look over this info and see if there's anything worth my scanning and posting for us.

- Chad

Glad I didn't get into the bidding war. We would love to see what all was in there!

Good on you, mate!! That's just outstanding!

Probably the easiest way to get them digitised in a form where they're easy to post would be a large flatbed scanner; I had my fathers WW2 logbook scanned this way many years ago and the results are perfect, though the files are quite big.

You could also take photos with a good camera, but I've tried this with large documents and the results were less than stellar!!!

:D I was willing to go up to $53, and even then hoped that whoever won would do what I'm doing... using it for history's sake!

Thats a pretty good haul of info. I saw a lot of stuff I never saw before. Would be an intersting read for sure. Having the info on the site would bring more of it to light and discussion. You did good.

Aw guys... We hit the mother load with this one! There are things we've never seen before! No one anywhere close to me has a flatbed scanner however, and I'm hesitant about sending it out. I'll need to figure out how to scan all this in. I'm amazed by what I got here...

And there's a group photo of the SLM/Elactra Guitar Shop. We can finally see the famous Rene Lopez!

Can't wait to get this info out to you all. With the newborn at home it may be slower going than I'd like!

Take it to Kinko's or someplace like that to get it scanned.

As i said, no dice. Nowhere within a 30 mile radius offers anything larger than legal sized scanning. I will find something.
