Hello,

I'm a newbie here. First off I wanted to say thanks for having this forum. I've had a hard time finding much info on old electras and this site has a lot of shared knowledge!

I recently aquired this Electra LP through a craigslist trade. I'm pretty sure it is early to mid 70s.
A few questions that I thought you guys might be able to answer.
1) Any clue what year it is?
2) do those look like the original pups? They sound great.
3) Are the toggles (splits humbucker to single coil) something that was added later or is this a model I haven't seen before?

I'm taking it in to have a proper setup later this week and can't wait to play it.
Thanks in advance. Jason

The year would be between 1972-1975 with that logo. The toggles must have been added on because ones in that location were never stock. Someone else will have to let you know about the pick ups. Welcome to the forum.

The original pickups on that model would have been covered pickups, Those look like era pickups but need to see the bottom plates to know for certain.

looks like a dimarzio super distortion and PAF - can't tell for sure but may be and they are from that era too.
