That headstock is the transitional "cut out" that was used between the open book style and the wave headstock. Used for a short time in the 1975-1977 era. What looks different to me is that there is no binding around the headstock like many of the others with this style.

Also the logo is different. Mine is bigger? See how my double E circle inlay extends out beyond the tuning pegs and the other does not? Is this an undocumented version? I don't see any other references to a headstock like that.
