Hi Everyone! We have been working on this for a while now and our first two prototypes arrived today!
They will be going into a USA Invicta we are building. I'll let you know what they sound like and try to get a video up asap.
These are custom wound, made in the USA pickups. They have Alnico V magnets and are wound with 42 gauge wire to the vintage specs. They should be in production in about 8 weeks.

Love the vintage look, very cool. I'm with Arthur, is it a slightly hotter than vintage?

They measure right at 8k. The few pickups I have been able to get my hands on have measured out about the same. They are a little bit hotter than say a PAF humbucker. It appears on the original Electra Magnaflux pickups that they used the same pickup for the neck and the bridge. They just put different covers on them. We are also going to offer a hotter bridge pickup (Super Magnaflux!) wound to around 14k.

Will these be avalible in sets or only with the guitars? These would make a killer upgrade for my 76' MPC X310.

Yes, we will be offering them as sets or singles. We will be using them on the Electra USA Guitars and we will offer them in the stock guitars as an option.
We are still working out the pricing.

Thanks for keeping us the loop, Ben.

I gotta say, you have a great man with Gene. He has been excellent to work with on the two new Electra's I had bought.

REALLY looking forward to seeing the two new models!

Well I hope this helps clear things up on the New electra Models. I spoke with Ben on the phone today and the new Electra Brand is alive and well. Ben has been busy with trade shows etc and has not checked in here in some time but is doing well. The Guitars are available and still in production both US Custom built and Korean models. Hope to have more info and updates soon but that's what I have for now. Thanks Ben for the update and keep those Electra models coming.

Count me in as having interest in a set as replacements for a vintage Electra.
