metal head stock badge......i think someone might have glued an electra logo on a generic japanese guitar...no serial #...says made in Japan on the neck plate

Early model Electra most likely a PCM(Pacific Coast Music) and not SLM(St Louis Music) One brother owned SLM and the other Owned PCM. From the logo and headstock would guess this to be early SG or LP copy.

So you think this is a legit Electra?...and any idea of the year...and yes its a LP copy thanks in advance

Yes it would be a legit Electra guitar as stated most likely a PCM Electra no way to be certain on production date for those periods but best educated guess would be early to mid 1970's I would also think that the body may be laminated layers as well but not all the early models were laminated layers. These are relatively light weight and fun to play.
