Other than color, what's the difference between the two? I played an 82 x 145 and the neck felt kinda fat. I once owned a 140N and it was lighter and had a thin neck. Are the sparkly models nicer than the others? And what about the x145vs without the pick guard?

I'd quite like an X145VS.... :D

It looks to me like the only difference was the metal flake paint on the X145; otherwise they look the same in the specifications. The backloaded X145VS (and X175JB) looked to be the only s/s/s that were constructed thus...
