i recently wrote to st. louis music to ask about getting a schematic for my recently purchased electra phoenix x-150. i thought it might come in handy some day in order to figure out all of that coil splitting, phase reversing, treble + bass boosting, overdriving, etc. to my surprise i not only got a response but a schemtic to boot! it's rough but what the heck. i'm posting it here for other phoenix players. if it's not here, let me know how to post a pic cuz i'm just guessing.
i do like my x-150. i wasn't sure what the build quality would be like on a bolt-on electra, but this one is rock solid with a beautiful finish and lovely sounds--versatile as all get out! here's mine: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... RK:MEWN:IT

electraman, i was going to send this schematic to you anyhow. let me shoot an email over to tom from SLM about using the schematic. i don't think they'd mind. i don't think it's considered corporate espionage if it's 25 year old guitar technology!

I recently bought an X250 that has been unfortunately "modified" over the years. Who did you contact at SLM regarding the schematic for your X150? I'd like to see if they can help me out with mine.

i believe an X250 should be much the same as an X150. Doesn't it have teh same controls?

It's close, but my 250 has 4 pots, vs. the 150's 3. The coil split and phase select looks like it should be the same, but I have 2 500k center-detent pots.
