Natural mahogany set neck Explorer style with white or black pickguard, rosewood fingerboard, covered Super Magnaflux pickups, MPC onboard electronics. Rick Derringer was briefly an Electra endorser, and his name is associated with this model. Rick Derringer is best remembered for his song "Rock & Roll Hootchie Coo", and the 1965 song "Hang on Sloopy" by his band the McCoys.
